So after today’s visit to the OB we know that the baby’s heart rate is good, placenta is good and there is still a lot of fluid around the baby. We also know that when mum and dad-to-be touch the baby the heart rate goes up and when we don’t play with the baby it goes down. Quite fascinating these CTG machines.
We obviously got to listen to the heart through a heart monitor which was interesting. Pocked and tickled the baby a bit and it sounds like you are at the beach with a racing heart rate. Resting heart rate was 130 which was a good level.
Unfortunately we don’t know if we are any closer to the birth or not, so we just have to wait. Back to the walks and the raspberry leafs and maybe we get to see a baby by the end of the week.
I am still just managing to keep it together...
Have fun!
