36 weeks, one month to go!

So we have now entered the last month, 36 weeks and only 4 weeks to go. Weekly visits to the Obstetrician and pretty much a mature baby. On one had it still feels ages away and on the other hand all weekends are booked up until the 3rd May and it makes it seem not so long.

I am still feeling good. Back is better so I am doing some good walking with the dog. I am getting bigger though, baby is kicking the ribs and making it a bit hard to eat and breath....not that they are vital things to live.

However, baby should soon engage (glide down the pelvic) and it should help me breath...saying that it might not decide to engage soon at all.

I am still eating all my vitamins and raspberry pills (as much as I can, considering I hate eating pills). I think I am having Braxton Hicks consistently during the day which I take as a good sign.

Dieting tip for the month; take a handful vitamin tablets with water and you are full as...no need for food. Or even better, get pregnant (preferably last two months) and you feel bloated all the time and just don’t want to eat. (For anyone that thinks I am serious – I am not)

Biggest change (apart from growing belly – still no sign of the feeding equipment called breasts) is again the pressure you have down there. Amazing! Some days you feel like the baby is about to squeeze itself out and take everything with it...but not from the right spot. I am still stunned that no books mention this phenomenon. Sitting down for long periods make things worse so up and move your butts girls. It is also changing and it is not appealing...

I am finding it hard to find a comfortable position and sitting up straight is a must, or lying down flat. However, with disappearing stomach muscles sitting up straight can be tiring.

I remember in one of my first pregnancy gym classes they mentioned that if you have stomach muscles that looks like Toblerone (in a triangle) it isn’t good. Mine are quite like that now...is that dangerous, how bad is it? Anyone? I am not training them anymore so it should hopefully not get worse...

I have to finish off my last two pills...wish me luck

Have a good day!
