Pelvic Muscles

Oh, the pressure is getting increasingly heavy down there. If you have ever been pregnant you are likely to know what pressure I am talking about. It comes and goes but today it is bad.

(If you haven’t been pregnant - I think it is a lot of blood collecting in the female parts and it creates a massive pressure and can be quite painful)

I have practiced my pelvic floor and been walking this morning but nothing seem to help today.

No books mention this phenomenon of pregnancy and I wonder why because everyone I speak to have this feeling quite often. Any thoughts? Is it to personal and sensitive?

The pelvic floor muscles are the devil of pregnancy I think. I have been told we need to practice every day, several times a day. I am struggling. Doing the pelvic floor exercises is one step worse than doing squats.....which I should also do every day for my growing behind.

My friend got herself a scare last time she spoke with the midwife and is now very good doing her pelvic floor. She can hold it for 12 second. Wow, that is impressive. I am happy if I can find the bl**dy muscles and hold them for 3 seconds.

My new thing is to hold the pelvic floor every time my dog sniff and wee on a tree, which is in average about 44 times on a walk.....if I can remember doing this I should be OK.

I have been slack with my training the last few weeks, since my back got bad. I am now feeling better and am starting today with a 30 mins weight training (light weights). And of course the devil squats and pelvic floor. 6.5 weeks to go, I should hopefully get my behind a bit more toned till then.

Another surprise since I’ve got pregnant is the cellulites. They are becoming like annoying ants on my behind and thighs....hopefully they should disappear with training and breast feeding. The boob God still hasn’t come and visited me though. I am still waiting.....

Have fun!
