I have an issue with my shrinking wardrobe. It is literally shrinking in more than one way. I admit I have never been famous for being fashionable but it is becoming ridicules now.
I have a couple of tops which I can still wear, but I have nothing to wear on the bottom. I have therefore had to withdraw to the dress area of the wardrobe which has four summer dresses. They are now also becoming increasingly tight and short to put it gently. It is also becoming colder and I truly don’t like being cold.
Conclusion is that I am using tracksuit pants 95% of the time and have moved over to my husband’s side to find t-shirts and jumpers. Not a good thing for my fashionable reputation of course. (Even though I love using his stuff in the evening)
Don’t spread it around, but I have also started using his undies (clean of course) to sleep in. My undies are starting to become increasingly tight or they are always in the wash. (God I can’t wait to go for a run so I can get my bottom to a normal size again)
However, with this financial crisis and my company moving significantly slower nowadays I can’t justify buying anything. I still need to go and buy a whole new bottom wardrobe when I have lost the peggie weight. It was getting old long before the baby planted itself in me.
There are plenty of beautiful maternity clothes on the market but what we need is tips on how we can convert our existing clothes to fit a growing tummy. Any ideas?
On another note...
I had the strangest dream last night. I dreamt that I was going to breast feed my new child and when he/she grabbed on, the nipple became like a snake coming out from a whole. The baby kept sucking and I had to suck from the other end so the baby didn’t take my whole nipple.
Bizarre...
I woke up feeling I had a massive hangover – and I am pretty sure I didn’t have any alcoholic drinks last night.....what is alcohol - I’ve forgotten
I seem to remember reading that it is common to have more vivid dreams at this stage and it is a way to deal with the new experience and preparing for what is coming up.
If I just keep having nightmares about the baby, what does that mean?
When I was a child and woke up in the middle of the night from nightmares I use to fantasise about pretty flying birds (I was 7). It worked then, maybe it will again. I will try it.
Sleep tight and dream lovely dreams
