I have been suffering from anxiety a bit lately. There have been countless of sleepless nights because I have been worried Izzy is either too warm or too cold, the comfort giraffe or her other blankest are choking her etc.
You would be amazed what I can come up with in the middle of the night. It never makes sense in the morning, but hey it seems very important and scary at night...Most of the thoughts are irrational but I just can’t help it. I am taking action to get better and I sure hope it will because I can really do with more than 4hours sleep right now. (She sleeps good, just not me)
Anyway...Isabelle has had a big development phase lately and she is a very talkative little girl. She grabs everything she can get hold of including my nose, Louis ears and my wine...she starts early. (I really need to learn how to cut her nails - they are very painful)
Feeding her is a mission times two. Everything is so much more interesting and arching her back and laughing is great fun. If she isn’t happy with me for some reason she gives out this very loud scream saying I am really angry now mum....and I can’t do anything but laugh because she looks so funny.
Today was a challenging day. She didn’t want to sleep and therefore got very tired and grumpy. I am not big on telly for her but today was an emergency session of the Wiggles, Humphrey the bear and Hi5 – (all children singing and dancing shows for the people who isn’t Australian). She loved the showes and had an hour kicking time.
It gave me a bit of a break between screaming sessions.
Here are a couple of pics for you...
My favourite pic. Isabelle is 12 weeks and I think she is saying "I love you mum"

Isabelle has just had her night bath and is my little packet - a packet of baby Isabelle (15 weeks)
Isabelle is finally starting to enjoy tummy time - thank God! (16 weeks)
Oh my beautiful husband just took louis for a walk and came in and gave me a kiss....eventhough I didn't make his cup of tea he asked for....and he just asked for it... ops
