Play time

Isabelle is now three months and growing and learning a lot....so am I, both growing and learning.

Isabelle’s favourite pass time is watching mum and talking to mum. She is not all concerned that I answer back all the time as long as I am in her vision and show that I am listening.

Toys are moderate fun, for about a second. She rather play airplane or the kissing game. She also likes to study her brother Louis but can get a bit startled when he makes a surprising bark.

I wish I could say that we have a nice smooth routine during the days but that would be a complete lie. We make a new routine most every day. We try to have a nap in the morning but it can last between 30 mins to two hours. She usually has a sleep in the pram for a bit during our lunch time walk and most of the days she has a good sleep in the afternoon, mostly from sheer exhaustion.

This Eat, play and sleep routine most mums talk about is more like eat, play, I am starving and exhausted so I need to eat again and fall asleep on the boob routine. But I am to tired physically and emotionally to fight for something else...maybe in a couple of months. Hopefully it will solve itself by then.

The last few days she has become a right monster when feeding. She enjoys her food, or should I be more literal, she sucks hard for about 3 mins and then it is mostly play with the nipple and sometime she bites really hard. It is amazing how painful that can be considering that she hasn't got any teeth yet. Oh I am not looking forward to when they come.
