I have found the ultimate relaxing space. At night, after a lovely bath with Isabelle I retire to her nursery to feed her a bottle and listen to relaxing music. After I put her down I tend to stay for about 20 mins. At first I stayed to make sure that she didn’t choke or anything, I know a bit paranoid, but now I just love sitting here listening to the music in a dim light and hearing Isabelle snoozing off.
I thought this would be the ultimate space to write my blog now.
We are pretty lucky, Isabelle sleeps really well about 5-6.5 hours the first stretch of the night and 2-3 hours for the second. So a pretty good night sleep for mum if she goes to bed at the same time, which she mostly do.
After 6 weeks we put Isabelle in her own room. We found that she likes to sleep when it is a bit warmer and not the 16 degrees Craig prefers...I just don’t count.
It has actually worked out really well and she sleeps very well on her own. At the moment she is talking to the little elephant hanging over her in the bassinet. She can lie there for a good 30 mins before she falls asleep...saying that she is just cracking it. Maybe the good days are over?
She has actually become quite mummy lately. I don’t know if that is because she is getting a bit more aware about the world around her and me or if I am spoiling her too much. I am not entirely sure what to do so I am hoping it is just a phase...
Tomorrow we have her 8 weeks immunisation and a bit nervous about it. I hope it doesn’t hurt her too much.
I let you know how she gets on.

Have fun!
Oh if anyone want to send Isabelle a message her new email is Isabellegray2009@gmail.com
